Bridger's Second First Birthday Party

Bridger's party was a costume party. Not everyone dressed up but it was really fun and seeing Jeff dress up was awesome. For some reason I'm more attracted to him now. kinky? wierd? Maybe, I don't know but he looked hot as a pirate.

Bridger's First Birthday Party

Bridger opening up presents, kindof. He needed lots of mommy help and with two other kids there, they were more then happy to help as well. One would help unwrap while the other would remove the presents from Bridgers hands so he could go on to the nexted.

Jeffry made an octopus cake and Bridger's smash cake for Bridger's first birthday.

Jeff made Bridger a smash cake. I didn't really think this threw...a one year old and a cake, umm yeah. Bridger had lots of fun with it and it was really funny to.

Bridger got some really cute batman pajamas from his aunt Liz and uncle Marshall. They also got him some pretzels. He had a field day with the pretzels and decided he didn't want to do anything unless he had a pretzel in each hand and this was after he had just eaten cake and pizza.

Haunted Village Update

It's definitely been a new experience for me but it's been fun. My schedule had me in the bank the whole season but they have decided that it's not working out so I've been moving around to different locations. I was in the corn maze one night and I was not very scary in there at all. They did how ever give me a gun (why would anyone trust me with a gun?) I got to shot this in the air when people walked by, that was really fun. Last night was by far the best night. I made a girl pee her pants; I made a grown man run from me screaming like a girl. He ended up tripping and falling into a horse’s trough (the highlight of the season so far). I made about 4 to 5 people trip running from me. One actually got hurt and was bleeding. I kind of felt bad. For some reason people are really scared of a crazy woman with an axe.

I was feeling really sick last night and almost called in sick but I'm glad I didn't I had way to much fun scaring people. Call me sick and twisted but I think it's so funny watching people run from me screaming their heads off.

Words of Advice

I just wanted to point out the wonderful advice I’ve gotten threw out my life.

Doesn't matter if you don't like any of the candidates to vote on, just choose the best because no matter what, it's always going to be between a giant dush and a terd sandwich. -South Park.

You can marry for love and you can marry for money, but always marry for the love of money. -Gus Mangus (my dad). I didn't follow this advice.

You really got to lose your conscious. -An ex-boyfriend who I wouldn't let past second base. There is a reason why he is my ex-boyfriend.

To make friends all you need to do is let them talk about themselves as much as possible. -Gus Mangus. Surprisingly this has worked well for me.

Read the instructions. -My husband. I did read the instructions but nowhere does it say take the cardboard off the bottom of the pizza.

You should pray about that. -From almost every female I know.

Men are simple they want dinner when they are hungry and action in the bed. -Dr. Laura

The gas is on the right and the break is on the left. -My dad after crashing into a tree with a golf cart.

A Luxury once tasted becomes a necessity. -My dad. This is definitely true, I cannot live without my big screen T.V. , D.V.R., computer, internet, my cell phone and much more, I am spoiled.

If you don't stop that right now I'm going to hurt you. -My little sister, Alecia. I didn't stop so she punched me as hard as she could in the stomach. I don't mess with her anymore.

When changing a baby boy's diaper always face away from for his penis. -My mother in-law after getting caught in the line of fire 4 to 5 times and it wasn't just pee.

If you have any great advice please tell me about it. I’m curious to hear what advice you got growing up.

I Judge to Quickly.

I've been told quite often that I am very nonjudgmental person. I believed this to be true for all my life until today. Yes, I enjoy being friends with what some people would say are the rebels of this world. I also enjoy being friends with what people would are the saints of this world. But today I caught myself hating someone for peer jealousy reasons. We were friends in high school and I haven't talked to her in years but I found out she has a Lexus (me judging right away I thought to myself a Lexus what a waste of money, what a snot. Rich people that have their mommies and daddies buy them everything).  Really I should be happy for her. She worked hard to get it. I don't know what's wrong with me sometimes. That's not the only thing that made me so judgmental today. She was also explaining religious matters and to me I just thought it sounded like what you are supposed to say being a Mormon in Utah. I was quick to judge her sincerity on the matter.  I go to church and there are some people that I am quick to judge if they are really there for the right reason or if they are just keeping up appearances. I don't go to church often because I think a lot of the people are fake. I might not judge the rebels or the poor but I judge the rich and the religious and I'm not proud of this at all in fact I'm extremely sad that I came to this realization. I was raised not to judge people but I do. I thought I was doing well in this area but I'm not. The good thing is that now that I realize what I’m doing I can make changes and hope to get over it.

I Got a Job.

I was lucky enough to have the day off a couple of weeks ago. My sister in-law, Aliesha took Bridger from 9am to 9pm. So having a Bridger free day I decided that I would have a job by the end of the day, so I went to Craigslist.com and looked for jobs the first part-time night job I found was for the Haunted Village. I thought this is perfect it’s nights and it’s only for 3 weeks just enough money for Christmas. Plus it will be fun and I can see if I can handle working and be a stay at home mom during the day.  I called them immediately and got an interview that day. The interview wasn't really an interview at all. It was more fill out all your paperwork your hired and by the way some of the houses in the village are really haunted I hope you can handle it.

I started this new job yesterday and as they are handing out the schedules I'm thinking to myself I know what's going to happen, I'm going to be in one of the haunted houses all by myself. Well I'm not in one of the haunted houses I'm in the Haunted Bank all by myself. This really made me reconsider working here. I hope everything will be fine. At least I'm inside and not freezing my butt off outside like most people. Tonight is the test run and I'm super excited to see how things are going to work. They have some really cool things that I’m excited to see how it works out. They have a headless horseman, a real person doing tricks on their horse up and down a dirt path. They have a person being hung, I’m very curious how this works something to do with a bungee cord.  There is someone in the stocks getting whipped, I guess I’m weird but I really wanted to be the person whipping the person in the stocks. Overall I think this will be really fun. What’s not fun about Scaring people and dressing up?

What can I do to help?

I find myself asking this question a lot lately. After my sister and brother in-law had their baby I've asked them how I can help at least twice a week and every time they tell me "nothing but thanks for the offer". My sister in-law I swear is just too sweet to say something.

A couple of days ago my dad had surgery. This is scary because I have a fear of losing him. When he's gone I have no parents and no grandparents. Yes, I have the in-law side but we all know it's not the same.  Anyways after the surgery he came home and he hasn't been able to do much and his wife is sick and can barely talk. So I ask them daily, what can I do to help? And again I get the same response "nothing, but thanks for the offer".

Is everyone this polite and strong willed that they don't need help anymore? I hear about everyone’s struggles and I offer to help but it's not needed. Maybe the only way I can help is to listen. I try to be a good listener, but for example listening to my most caring little sister, Alecia I find myself in the middle of the conversation interrupting her to talk about myself. I love what she has to say and I want to know everything about her life (well almost everything). So why do I do this, bad habit I guess. I find myself doing this to a lot of people, I'm I really that self absorbed? I don't know, Sometimes I wish I could just be someone else for a day and observe myself and see what I'm really like and what I need to work on. I'm sure the first thing I would say is "Dang, I'm fat!" My poor husband I just seem to dose off into space somtimes in the middle of our conversations.

But I really do want to be a good listener and be less selfish. People are so sweet and keep giving to me and I just feel I have nothing to offer them in return. So, what can I do to help?
