"Gather up the ammo were heading out" Yelled the Captain. "aye aye captain" the soldiers said as they started gathering up leaves and putting them in bags. "Let's GO!!" All the little soldiers ran across the yard and laid down beside a car with their ammo and guns looking underneath in hopes to sneak up on the enemy. But the soldiers did not realize they had left a man behind still gather ammo. When the last soldier notices he runs over to the car crying "GOBBOT GOBBET" giving away their hiding spot. Captain Garrett is quick on his feet and rolls on the ground and hides behind the tree so he is still covered. One by one the other soldiers follow. But the last little soldier can't quite get the concept of rolling on the ground. He falls to the ground and attempts this over and over again till finally Captain Garrett yells "TIME OUT!!" and runs over to me and says in the nicest way he knows how "Megan, Bridger is kind of in the way". At this point I'm forced to interrupt their pretend play and get Bridger. I kindly lead Bridger over to the swing to distract him from the older boys. As Bridger is crying, Garrett is feeling bad for him. So the 8 year old boys decide that Bridger can work to their advantage. They run back over to the tree to gather more ammo and Garrett yells “Bridger come on we need your help”. I let Bridger go and he starts running to the tree extremely happy screaming "GOBBOTT GOBBOT I WUB U". Captain Garrett says "Interrupter Interrupter what is he saying?"A soldier replies "He's saying we need more ammo". But really what my little soldier is really saying is Garrett Garrett I love you.

That is so cute! I my son loves to play with his uncle too (who is 6). I love when the older kids let the little kids play with them.
I think this story needs to be published it's so sweet! I love you Megan and your little solider too!
