My Sketchbook.

These are some pencil drawings I did in high school. I've been out of practice since then. I'm slowly starting to draw again. Right now I'm working on a project for my sister in-law and once that is done I will post it.
After high school I thought I would try the whole painting thing but I really didn't like it much and I just got frusterated with it and quit. I started doing prisma color and now I'm remembering how much I actully enjoy drawing.

Another Nephew!!

I have another exstreamly cute nephew. Axton was born on Sept. 13th. When I got the call that he was coming I was in the middle of getting ready for my couison's baby shower, ironic isn't it? He was 3 weeks early but very healthy. He was 6 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 inches. He's so small I thought I was going to break him. I'm not use to small baby's. Since Bridger is a massive baby, he is now in the 97 percental for wieght and 95 percental for hieght. Anyways, I'm so happy Axton is here and safe. I love my nieces and nephew's. The more the better. So my sister's out their that don't have babies, get busy!! Except for my sister that isn't married, get married first then get busy.

These are some pictures I drew and colored with prisma colors for my new nephew Axton's bedroom.

Dreams: The Good, The Bad and The Naughty

This is really an embarrassing thing for me to write about. So then why am I writing about it?? My wonderfully convincing sister said I had to. Well I guess here it goes....

The Good: If you know me at all you know that my favorite singer is Gary Allan, but I do not find him attractive at all until the great dream I had about him the other night. Now I have placed him of my top 5 list of the men I'm allowed to make-out with if the opportunity arrives. Yes, my husband has his list to. This dream starts out with me at his concert. I'm standing in the very front screaming like an over obsessed fan. Gary hands me a backstage pass, I know what this means and I'm excited. I go backstage and when he gets off stage he invites me to his trailer. By this time I'm thinking things are looking good. I go to his trailer and just as he's about to kiss me I stop him and say "I have dreamt of this day forever and as much as I would love to kiss you, make-out with you, (ext. ext.) I can't I'm married and I have a baby and I love them so much and would never want to hurt them." Then I walked out the door.

I woke up after that happy knowing how much my family means to me that I would never want to hurt them but also a little upset because I didn't kiss the guy.

The Bad: In this dream Alecia, Jeff and I are walking downtown SLC in the middle of the night. Alecia and Jeff get to talking and forget about me. They start walking faster and further ahead. I yell at them to get back here because I'm scared. Jeff looks back at me a motion’s me to run. But I'm exhausted and can't run. I yell at them again to slow down. This time they didn't hear me. Next thing I know someone grabs me from behind and puts one hand over my mouth so I can't scream. As this man is dragging me backwards I think to myself of how I can get Jeff's attention and all I could come up with is breathing as loud as I can. Maybe that way he will hear me.

I woke up with Jeff shacking me saying "Megan are you ok??" I said "yes, I'm fine". I thought you were having an asthma attack. I giggled and said "no, I was having a really bad dream".  I'm not sure if my husband rescued me in the dream but he got me out of the dream and was even better. I was scared the rest of the night and asked Jeff to cuddle me (I need my big strong man to protect me.) Well, we spooned the rest of the night. Something good came out of it, right?

The Naughty: This is the dream I don't want to write about and no one is going to make me. I'll just give you some hints and you use your imagination. It evolves Jake Gyllahal, a fast car, me in a sexy black dress and a hotel. I think that says enough. Sorry to the people who were expecting something juicier.

Since I mentioned my top 5 list I'm going to tell you who has the honor of being on mine.

 1: Jake Gyllenhaal

2:  Michael Vartan

3:  Timothy Olyphant

4:  Gary Allan

5:  I have not found a 5th person yet. I have a very strict criteria for these positions and none meet my standards

PAX

It's taken me awhile now to get to writing this blog it's been non-stop since getting back from Seattle. PAX was an all day all night thing. They had concerts till 3:00 a.m. and the day started at 10:00 a.m.  Getting home I had so much work to do I had to catch up on all the house work. And to make things worse Bridger got some really bad diarrhea.

Some of the video games I'm excited for Aion, Fable 2, Rockband 2, and Spore. Well Spore came out sunday so I've been playing that all week another reason why I'm not blogging that much.

Random pictures from PAX.

Fun Times at the Space Needle

Yesterday we had some friends arrive for PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) today. They arrived early yesterday so we got to go do some fun stuff while here in Seattle. We went to the Science Fiction Museum, The Music Museum and ate dinner at the Space Needle. I really don't have much to say about it because i'm being lazy and I'm working on very little sleep now.

Museums in Tacoma, Washingtion

Today is the third day in Seattle and we decided we didn't want to spend it in Seattle so we went to Tacoma, Washington to goto the museums. We went to the Museum of Glass, Washingtion State History Museum, and Tacoma Art Museum. It was really fun and I learned blowing glass is definitely an art. The glass art is so beautiful and amazing.
At the museum of glass they had a hot shop where they showed you how they blow, shape, and add color to glass. Although we watched them do this for about an hour, I still can't figure out a lot of the stuff is done.

At the art musuem they had amazing calligraphy. Apparently a group of religious people took it upon themselves to write the whole bible in beautiful calligraphy and did pictures to go along with the storys in the bible. These picture were beautiful, colorful, detailed, and they did gold leafing throughout the book.

First Couple of Days in Seattle.

We arrived in Seattle Monday night and Seattle did not give us a very good first impression. Apperently the rental cars are not kept at the airport. We had to call a shuttle to take us 10 mins away to the rental place. After getting our car we headed to the hotel and I swear 90% of the roads in Seattle are one way roads, this is very obnoxious and made it very difficult to find the hotel. When we finally got to the hotel we found out that we had to pay 15$ a day for parking. WHAT?? This is our time share why are we paying for parking? and why didn't anyone tell us this before hand? Well we payed for the parking and went up to our room. I went to bed that night a little grumpy (okay I was alot grumpy) but hopeful that tomorrow would be better. Well around 5:00 a.m. contruction starts on the two building surrounding us. So of course I woke up but my very intenigent husband who brought ear plugs did not. I woke up Jeff and begged for some plugs for my ears. I was just happy I was able to go back to sleep.

That morning when we woke up we walked about a mile to go to a little food market to pick up some shampoo for me. That is when things started getting alot better. Seattle is so much better in the day. After getting ready for the day we walked to the pier and the fish market. It had tons of little shops that went out for miles. There were flower and fresh food stands everywhere. We walked around there for about 4 hours. By the time we got back to the hotel we were exhausted but it was worth it. Today was a good day and I'm excited for tomorrow.

This is my see-food.
