A Crappy Weekend

Everyone get so excited for the weekends and they should. I woke up friday morning so excited, but around 11:00 a.m. my weekend went from great to one of the worst. My stomach did a turn for the worst and before I knew what was going on I was barfing in the toilet. I was hoping it was nothing but as the day went on I could barely lift up my baby. I needed backup, so I sent my husband a message telling him the situation and he left work a little early to help me out. I thought at first is was a stomach flew but when I was visiting the bathroom every hour not to throw up but to ummm....(yeah). Praying this was only a 24 hour thing, I went to bed that night and of course I slept terribly. I woke up at 5:00 a.m. I drove to the instacare. I knew they weren't going to be open but I took my chance I was in so much pain and discomfort. They didn't open till 8:00 a.m. so I desided to go back home. My legs were hurting so I got in the shower. This was not a good idea. Not only was I running on very little sleep and I was having trouble eating. The minute I started scrubing my hair I fell flat on my butt. I was to weak to even stand anymore. I forced myself up and out of the shower. With every once of energy I had left I made it to the bedroom. I woke Jeff up and cried for help. Yes, this may seem so dramatic but this is what really happened. Moving on, I went to the doctor and I have a virus. It attacks my stomach and intestines. The doctor said this virus would start going away on monday (Wait, I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on monday). I ask the doctor "would it still be okay if I got my wisdom teeth out on monday?" The doctor had a very humorous relpy to this "Yes, but the medication will make it so you won't be able to control your bowel problem and you might go to the bathroom in the middle of the surgery. So if you don't mind and the dentist doesn't mind, then you should get your wisdom teeth out". ummm...I don't think it sound like my wisdom teeth will becoming out on monday. Well, sunday comes around and I start feeling much better. The virus went away early and I am so happy because now I'm getting my wisdom teeth out and I won't poop during it. As soon as the virus went away I got lucky and started my period. My stomach pains were gone but I just gained a new pain. Good thing these pains don't last very long but by the time they are gone I will be dealing with a much greater pain. I am scared out of my mind about getting my widom teeth removed. I cry just thinking about the pain. but it's got to be done. In all this terrible news there is one thing good that has come out of this. I've lost 5lbs and i'm only a couple more stomach viruses away from my target wieght.

Destructo Baby

I'm sure it's a baby thing but this little guy gets into everything. If you don't think it's possible, think again. Today laying in bed, because I'm exstreamly sick to my stomach. My beautiful baby boy is playing on the side of me. To sick to really pay attention to what he was doing. I hear him take the picture we have on the shelf of Jeff and I. Bridger does this almost everyday and he just holds it and stares at it occationaly laughing at it, but that's it, it's harmless. I thought he's just haveing fun with the picture. Well, he got quite, so I desided I better check on him. I looked down and noticed he somehow had opened the frame took out the cardboard, the picture, and the glass. When I went over there to clean it up I said to Bridger "did you do this?" and he just looked at me and laughed. How can you be upset about that. I love my baby he's to cute for words.

The picture is of Baby Bridger getting into our video games. This was an everyday thing until we got our entertainment center.

I'm Smart S.M.R.T.

Writing these blogs has helped my spelling and vocabulary. Everytime I'm not sure about how to spell a word I google it and pops up the correct spelling and definition. So I don't sound like a complete idiot I force my husband to read over it and find mistakes. By that time I've already posted it and the 2 people that read my blog have already commented on it. Since I don't read and this is the first time writing in years I'm a little out of practice.

Since I'm talking about my intelligence, the other day someone said something to me that really hurt my feelings. This person has no idea and I'm not going to tell them, because I'm sure they didn't mean to. I'm very touchy on this subject I grew up being told I wasn't smart enough. Second grade my teacher made a meeting with my mom and I. She told us that I needed to take the second grade over again, because I wasn't catching on as well as the other children. Of course my mom refused to put me into the same grade as my little sister (thank you mom!). Fifth grade I started taking a recource class. Sixth grade it was two classes and by ninth grade I had 4 classes. Image what this did for my self esteem. I wanted to be like everyone else and take normal classes in high school and I did. Half way threw my first semestier of english my teacher came up to me and told me that my reading scores are to low so they would need to put me in a low level reading class. WHAT?? I was furious. I said I would not go that I am doing fine in this class. The teacher then persisted that things would just get harder. I asked the teacher "What is my grade in this class?". of course he replied "an A". Then why would you need to move me into this "lower level class"? Well as the story goes I ended up in that class and in a recource science class as well. You know what resource classes did for me, Nothing! How am I going to catch up with everyone else by going slower? Not only did these classes make me feel stupid. They were full of all the troubled kids and so those are the people I made friends with. My point is I'm not dumb! I learn just as fast as everyone else and It took me 20 years to relize this. Because it took so long for me to realize this I am behind everyone else. The stupid resource classes kept me behind. The reason I'm behind in reading is because I hate reading so therefore I don't do it. Thanks to these blogs I'm reading more because I enjoy what my friends and family have to say. Anyways the nexted time this person says infront of a big crowd, "Everyone knows Megan isn't very smart". I think I just might have to defend myself but by defending myself it will end in tears, because like I said I'm very touchy on this subject.

Ringtones

I got my new cell phone which is great because now people are able to hear me when I'm talking. Bridger destroyed my other phone by chewing on it to much, kindof like a dog. Anyways, I had to get new ringtones for everyone. Picking the right ringtone for the right person is a must. It needs to remind me of them and I have to love the song I choose. These aren't necessarily the tones they would choose for themself but to me they scream the person. Lets start with the basic ringtone. This is for all the bill collectors and people that I don't care enough about to assign a tone to. I choose Ashley Simpson "Outta My Head". The beginning lyrics which I will hear are "and all I hear is Ay ya ya your talking way to much". I think that says enough about how I feel about those people. Moving on to the important people in my life. Lets start with my best friend and sister Alecia. I needed something with lots of emotion and who does it better then Niel Diamond. I found just the perfect song for her "Hello Again". The starting lyrics for this song are "Hello my friend hello just called to let you know I think about you everynight." I thought that was wity and to the point. The most important song and the one I will be hearing the most of is for my husband. I wanted something exsiteing and upbeat. Something that would make me dance and just want to jump on him. One song that I just can't help dancing to is "Time of My Life" from the soundtrack Dirty Dancing. Of course I also had this song start in just the right spot and of course I'm going to tell you. "Yes, I know what's on your mind when you say stay with me tonight." Yeah that screams Jeff. He stays with me everynight and everynight I know what's on his mind or I think I do as we established in my post "What to expect when mind reading". Three down Three to go. For my dad I choose somthing we both have in common and it's the love for poker. So I thought "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers fits pretty good. If you have ever heard the song you would agree. Nexted song is for my sister in-law Liz and this girl is super bubbly, fun and loves cheesy movies and T.V. like me. I thought what fits all of that...Hannah Montanta Theme song!!! Yes, a great way for me to play that song over and over again for Bridger and I to dance to. The last song goes to two of my sister in-laws Robin and Sheana. "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry. Not only do I love this song but If I ever desided to kiss a girl these 2 Beautiful girls would be high on my list, not to mention I have had dreams about kissing these girls. Does this mean I'm bi or does this mean I just think they are Hott.....Ay ya ya I'm talking way to much!

Sisters are Forever.

For me it's a rare moment when I am able to become close friends with someone. To get to the stage where no matter what you say or do your not judged or hated for it. Where you can be your complete self all the bad and good. Through out my life I can only think of a few people that I have fealt this way a about. These people are a rare gem in my life and they have helped me become who I am today.

I live by the rule family is forever and my sisters are the biggest and best part of it all. I'm so lucky that I have sisters that are forced to love me through the good and the bad. Because of this, these are the girls that I am able to become close to. I am able to be myself with them. I love you guys!! My life is better because of you.

What to expect when mind reading.

I don't know why but I expect my husband to read my mind quite often. Tonight was no different. The baby had woken up from his nap and I was in the middle of cooking dinner. I said to my husband get the baby and I will finish up with dinner. I went on cooking dinner and my wonderful husband did just as I had said. What he didn't know was that I had placed baby's bowl of rice ceral on the coffee table along with his bottle. When I told my husband to go get the baby I figured he also knew I meant feed him his cereal and bottle as well. While in the middle of cooking fries and chicken nuggets my husband comes to me and says did you put his bottle and cereal on the coffee table. "Why yes I did... did you give it to him?" I asked. "No, I didn't know you wanted me to feed him to", he replied. Well as the story goes it's no suprise Baby Bridger got his cereal off the table. The cereal ended up all over the floor, table, couch, and of course Bridger. Instead of eating our dinner I gave baby a bath and my extremely patient husband cleaned up the rest.

Sword

This is my third 3D model. If you can't tell it's of a sword. Building this I learned new skills, such as Creaseing. Creaseing the sword was extremly fun and frustrating at the same time. I'm sure once I'm better at it I won't be so frustrated.
